Commercial Package: As the name suggests, a commercial package policy is composed of two or more coverages bundled or “packaged” together. Property, Crime, Automobile, Boiler and Machinery, General Liability (GL), and Inland Marine are the type of policies that can be packaged.  The property section covers your Building and/or Business Personal Property, Business Income, EDP, Accounts Receivable and Valuable Papers.  The general liability section covers your liability.  Not all commercial packages include Automobile, but your automobile exposure can sometimes be included in this policy.  As with any insurance it is critical for you to understand exactly what is in your Package policy because there are so many different ways they can be put together.
